body lotion, skin creamMy bathroom cabinet is full of body lotions and skin creams and I know that this is something that gets on my husband’s nerves but it is not a habit that I intend to quit. There are two main reasons why I have so many bottles of body lotion and skin cream in my bathroom cabinet. First of all I do not like having dry skin anywhere on my body or face. I hate the soreness of dry itchy skin. What’s more I do not want my skin to age prematurely and I know I have to keep my body and face well moisturized in order to avoid that.
The other reason there are so many skin creams and body lotions in my cabinet is that I often use the fragranced stuff in place of perfume.  I have quite a few bottles of designer fragrance body lotions and I like to have a wide choice so that I can choose a scent that reflects my mood. I like using fragranced body lotions because I feel that they interact with my own personal body chemistry more than perfume sprays. However if I am going out I use the body lotion and perfume spray to layer my scent.
