This morning my husband was my sister’s first customer in her new home salon. She’s been talking about having her own home salon for years, but six months ago I finally asked her what she was waiting on. I told her that life wasn’t getting any longer and that the time was going to pass whether she was reaching her goals or not, so if she wanted the home salon, it was time to start making it come to pass. I think that moment was a proverbial light bulb moment for my sister, because from that point on, she started pouring her heart and soul into bringing the home salon to life. She ordered many new products from online, where she found she can get everything she needs for great prices. From there, she had business cards printed and even had a few towels made with her salon logo. This morning all the hard work and preparation came to pass when she opened the doors of the home salon. My husband said he would be honored to be the first customer and she did a great job. By the time he was finished, there were four other people waiting to get their hair done.
