Skip the Tanning Salon: Why I Fake Bake from the Bottle |

Fake baking is notorious for orange women being compared to "oompa loompas". I've never been one to tan. After all, I already have a natural olive tan all-year-round. When I started competing in ballroom dance, my tan was not adequate enough. During competition, women looked like they all had emerged from the sun drenched beaches of Rio de Janeiro. It was as if all they did was tan all day and not much else.
I decided to take on tanning. The salon costs were over-the-top. I wanted something safe. I didn't want to visit a salon for a tanning bed. Also, spray tan was the most expensive option at the salon. So, I decided to go sunless and find my tan in a bottle. Tanning is like an art. You have to take it seriously, or else there is a higher chance that you may transform into a new species (i.e. oompa loompas). Or you may end up getting tan lines or awkward clumps here and there.
So, I actually took my careful time and applied tanner in a bottle. It took me two whole hours to apply the tan, but it was worth it. I got salon results for a lot less.
