A Twist on Bubble Bath |
| 1/29/2010 2:37:37 AM |

About six months ago, I came home from a really long and exhausting business trip and the only thing I wanted to do was take a bubble bath and relax. I had been anticipating it all the way home, and imagine my surprise when I went to the bathroom and found that I was out of bubble bath. I think my neighbors actually heard the groan of disappointment when I realized that there was no bubble bath to be found in the house. I thought about just taking a hot bath, but that's different in some way than a long, hot bubble bath, so to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
About that time, I looked over and saw some shower gel in the corner that had barely been used, and a light bulb went off. I ran myself a huge tub of hot water and poured a stream of the gel in the tub, and voila’ instant bubble bath. The thing that I immediately liked about it was that it was in the same scent as my perfume, and while I was soaking away the troubles of my trip, I thought that I should maybe start using this gel as bubble bath. That is where it all started, and from then on, I never bought bubble bath, but instead would buy gel that matched my perfumes. I'd leave the bath smelling fabulous, and I felt refreshed. I just recently ordered 2000 Fleurs by Creed Women Shower Gel 6.8 oz that I found at Tegans Corner Store whose online shop can be found by visiting www.teganscornerstore.ispeedway.com. It should arrive any day now and I can't wait to have a soak in the tub using the gel as bubble bath. 2000 Fleurs happens to be the perfume I'm wearing these days, so I think it will be wonderful to have a hint of the same scent as I step out of the bath.
I love how sometimes little things in life happen that can be a disappointment, but instead lead us to something completely different and exciting. If I hadn't been out of bubble bath that night, I would have probably never tried using the gel for the bath and I would have missed out on a great idea for a bubble bath replacement. Now I can't imagine using anything else but the gel. Isn't it funny how our preferences change, even when we think we are dead set on having things a certain way? |
