home salonI just got home from getting a hair cut at a local home salon.  I love going there because it's private and so quaint.  The hair cut is always wonderful, and the price fits right into my budget.  She has turned her old pool room into a home salon, with a sink and chair for washing, a seat with a dryer for setting, and a seat for hair cuts.  Then she has a small waiting space with a couple of chairs.  It's great that it's never super busy because it is a one-person operation.  She never over-schedules which is convenient, meaning I never have to wait for my appointment.  She doesn't charge an arm and a leg, so I can go as often as I need.  It's nice and quiet, with soft music playing at the right volume.  I like the personalized care and the fact that she remembers me from visit to visit.  Now that I go to a home salon for all of my hair appointments, I will never go back to a large salon again.
